Reverie (n): A state of dreamy meditation, a fanciful musing
Reveries can be seen all throughout my work as a visual artist. I am constantly drawn to mystical, magical, quaint folklore and the beautiful (sometimes silly) ways that can manifest. Think star-studded deer leaping through underbrush, a rusty old enameled kettle on the stove, unfinished quilt patches, wooden spoons, or that corning-ware flower you always find on a bowl in grandma's cupboard.
